This is the last day of the August sales contest at Lulu, so if you’ve been pondering a purchase of NOD, I would be grateful if today was the day. You can get 10% off the price with the coupon code “FOUND”.

It looks like NOD #4 will publish this week. I have a few bits of editing and design to finish up – so probably Thursday. Wish I could have had it out a week ago, but real life does intrude! Contents: Medieval Bestiary, Gods of the Golden Sea, Eastern Venatia sandbox, Ruins of Timulus adventure, Pleasure Palace of Izrigul adventure and another two chapters of Phantastes. Will probably come in around 110 pages. I’ll keep the price as low as possible.

Later today I’ll post the last preview of Ibis and a few more thoughts on Mystery Men! Thanks for reading folks – you’re all making a dream come true for me here.

Total Sales – 42 (+28 since June)

The print sales of #1 really warm my heart, since it means people were willing to pay for otherwise free content, but of course I’m thankful to everyone who has bought a copy of NOD, and really hope you find the content useful.

The 15% off sale on the print version of NOD #2 runs until August 15 – just use the code “BEACHREAD305”.

June Sales Report

In case folks are interested in how much product I’m actually moving …

NOD #1 (e-book) – FREE – 371 downloads

NOD #1 (print) – $9.00 – 6 sales

NOD #2 (print) – $9.00 – 5 sales

NOD #2 (e-book) – $4.00 NOW $3.50 – 5 sales

You might detect a slight drop off between FREE and $4.00. Heck, I’m just happy that I’ve sold anything, and maybe when the economy gets a bit healthier I might sell a few more units. I’ve actually reduced the price of the NOD #2 e-book to $3.50 to see if that will stimulate some activity. I’m also working to get my stuff on rpgnow.com and I’m checking out a different Print-On-Demand website that is affiliated with Amazon.com. I think I’m also going to create “frugal yankee” editions of the print books to sell alongside the normal editions. By using different paper I can reduce the price, but the frugal editions won’t be available for ground shipment outside the USA. So, cheaper for we yanks, more expensive for everyone else.

UPDATE – Sold one more e-book today. Thank you, kind consumer, whoever you are!
